Music in the Vineyards: The Other Stones
Friday, June 8, 2012 at 7:30 PM (PDT)
Join us for Music in the Vineyards featuring legendary cover band "The Other Stones" rockin the vines with your favorite songs from the World Famous Rolling Stones. Be prepared to rock the night away and dance your hearts out as this is going to be one great show. The show starts at 7:30pm and the doors open roughly one hour prior to the show. Bring your lawn chairs, and your picnics, but please leave all alcohol at home because law prohibits bringing sand to the beach! (or outside alchohol to our winery, this includes wine previously purchased here).
Craig Manrique - drums, vocals Having left the URS in 2009, Craig decided to form the Other Stones with Ken, who he met through the friendship and spiritual guidance of legendary Ozzy Osbourne drummer, Randy Castillo. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Craig enjoyed local fame in a very small way as drummer for the likes of Acid Hicks, and Burning Sensations to name a few. New to the tribute scene. Now with Chris Perry onboard. Craig is busy woodshedding Black Crowes material.
Ken Khristian - guitar, vocals Ken has a long list of credits - Bobby Womack, Bill Wyman, Sly Stone, Delaney & Bonnie, Gram Parsons, and the list goes on. Ken is an amazing talent with the guitar. He's witnessed so many legendary events that he could easily write a book about them. His first crack at a tribute band, and a mighty fine one at that. A sincere tribute and natural at replicating every nuance of Keith. His new embodiment of Black Crowes suits him well.A critical member of the band.
Kenny Crampton - bass Kenny brings an aggressive pulse to the stage.A much respected bassist in the San Francisco bay area. Hes revered as the tribute king stemming from his involvement with the URS tribute. Also, new to Black Crowes and nailing it.
Jaan Hjorth - guitar, vocals Jaan shared many successes and seems to know everybody. His musical credits span through the late 70s & 80s- lead guitarist for the famed San Francisco band Earth Quake, as well as a stint in Bill Wyman's band while living for years in the UK. He has a penchant for vintage Italian sports cars andhand-wired Marshall amps.Play guitar in a tribute to the Rolling Stones and Black Crowes. Hell yeah!
Johnny Moroko - vocals Mick to the fullest. A genetic double.
